The petty township Wadowice can be found in southern Poland, not far away from city of Krakow. You can get at that place in only one hour by bus. Wadowice is mainly famed for standing for the birthplace of the Pope John Paul the 2nd.

Born in the beginning of twenties, the young pope used to live there until 1938 so plenty of areas in Wadowice are connected with his activity during early days. The important one is his original former home situated on Koscielna 7 Street where the Pope grew up.

People are shown some retained primary devices and belongings of Wojtyla’s family line like pieces of household furniture, images, collections, even a set of skiing equipment. In the neighborhood of the home there is the exquisite baroque church building of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary inside the internal part of the town where the young Karol Wojtyla liked to go aside.

Furthermore his high school is opened for guests. The town itself has origins in thirteen century so there is a number of former ancient architecture.
